# Turkish wedding suits for men: a guide for wholesale buyers

Why bridal and formalwear stores stock Turkish wedding suits, which styles and colours sell, and how to order them in lots from our Istanbul factory.

## Why are Turkish wedding suits for men so popular with retailers?

Turkish wedding suits sell well because they combine European styling with fast production and fair prices, and Istanbul factories make the ceremony styles that many markets want. Turkey has a large domestic wedding market, so local factories have long experience with groom suits, tuxedos and embellished ceremony jackets. Retailers abroad get those same designs at wholesale.

For a bridal or formalwear store, the practical advantages are clear:

- **Short production time.** Our typical production time is 12-15 days, depending on quantity, model and fabric availability.
- **Location.** Istanbul sits between Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, which helps with shipping by air or sea.
- **Range.** One factory can supply groom tuxedos, groomsmen suits and guest suits in the same order.
- **Small entry point.** Many models are in stock and sold in size-run lots, so a store can test styles without a large commitment.

## What styles of Turkish wedding suits do stores buy?

Stores mainly buy four groups: 3-piece suits, tuxedos, dinner jackets and embellished ceremony suits. Most buyers combine two or three of these to cover the groom, his groomsmen and male guests.

| Style | Typical buyer | Popular details |
|---|---|---|
| 3-piece suit (jacket, waistcoat, trousers) | Grooms, groomsmen, guests | Peak lapel, slim fit, matching waistcoat |
| Tuxedo | Grooms, evening weddings | Shawl lapel with satin facing, jacquard or velvet |
| Dinner jacket | Summer and destination weddings | Ivory or white with black trousers |
| Embellished ceremony suit | Grooms who want a statement look | Rhinestone, sequin, embroidered shoulders, ombre crystal |
| Double-breasted suit | Fashion-led grooms and guests | Peak lapel, gold metal buttons |

The 3-piece suit is the steady seller. In our stock range it comes in navy, charcoal grey, black, emerald green and brown, all slim fit with peak lapel. You can see more on the [wedding suits](/mens-suit-manufacturing/wedding-suits) and [tuxedos](/mens-suit-manufacturing/tuxedos) category pages.

## Which colours sell for weddings?

Navy, black and charcoal are the safe base, while emerald green, burgundy and ivory are the colours that bring grooms into the shop. Jewel tones photograph well and many grooms now want something different from a plain black suit.

- **Navy:** the most flexible colour. Works for grooms and groomsmen, day or evening.
- **Black:** evening weddings and classic tuxedo looks.
- **Emerald and forest green:** strong in velvet and jacquard tuxedos and in 3-piece suits.
- **Burgundy:** velvet tuxedos for autumn and winter weddings.
- **Ivory and white:** dinner jackets for summer, Gulf and North African weddings.
- **Metallics:** silver, bronze, copper and champagne gold in jacquard or sequin, popular in parts of Africa, the Middle East and the Balkans.

As general guidance, a store testing Turkish wedding suits for the first time can put most of the order into navy, black and charcoal, then add a smaller share of green, burgundy and ivory to see what sells locally.

## When is wedding season, and when should stores order?

Order two to three months before your local peak, so stock is on the rail when couples start shopping. Grooms usually buy or rent several weeks before the wedding, and groomsmen often decide later.

Seasons vary by market:

- **Europe, UK, Balkans and Central Asia:** the main season runs from late spring to early autumn. Buyers usually place orders in late winter and early spring.
- **Middle East and Gulf:** many weddings happen in the cooler months, so autumn and winter are busy.
- **Africa:** demand is spread across the year, with peaks around holidays and the end of the year in many countries.
- **USA and Canada:** spring through autumn is the busiest period, with prom adding demand for tuxedos in spring.

Plan for production time plus shipping. Production is typically 12-15 days for made-to-order, and we quote shipping per destination. Air is faster, sea is better for larger volumes.

## How do groom and groomsmen sets differ?

The groom usually wears the statement piece, and groomsmen wear a matching but simpler suit. That gives a store two price points from one wedding party.

A common combination is a jacquard or velvet tuxedo for the groom and a plain navy or black 3-piece for the groomsmen. Another is an ivory dinner jacket for the groom and black tuxedos for the groomsmen.

For groomsmen, size coverage matters more than style variety. A wedding party might need four to eight suits in the same colour across different sizes, so stores selling to groups need deeper stock in the middle sizes. For guidance on ratios, see our [size runs and lot planning guide](/guides/suit-size-runs-and-lot-planning).

## What do Turkish wedding suits cost wholesale?

Wholesale prices depend on model, fabric, quantity and branding, so we quote every order individually. Plain wool blend suits cost less than jacquard, velvet or hand-applied rhinestone models. Embellished pieces take more labour, which shows in the price.

To get an accurate quote, send us:

1. The model codes or photos of styles you like.
2. How many lots or units per model.
3. Your destination country and whether you use a forwarder.
4. Whether you need your own labels.

## How do wholesale buyers order wedding suits from us?

Buy ready-stock lots for speed, or order made-to-order production under your brand from 100 units per style. Both routes can be combined in one shipment.

- **Stock lots:** one model in one colour across a size run, for example EU 46-48-50-52-54-56 for suits, six pieces per lot. Most tuxedo lots run EU 46-58 with seven pieces.
- **Made to order:** you choose fabric, colour, fit, lining, buttons, labels and packaging. Minimum 100 units per style, typically 12-15 days production.

## A short note for grooms

We work with businesses only. The smallest order is one lot of six or seven suits in different sizes, so we cannot sell a single suit to a groom or tailor one to your measurements. If you found this page while planning your wedding, ask a local bridal or formalwear store whether they stock Turkish wedding suits. Many of our retail customers do.
